Truth:  We do.  The alternative is a time-based fee where we charge by the hour, however, given the constraints of this service we do not believe anyone wants to pay for an unsuccessful service.

In return, should it be appropriate for you to engage us to take your case forwards, we both sign RICS compliant terms of engagement ensuring you receive a professional service and both parties are clear on the fees payable on a successful conclusion of your case.

Once instructed , we carry out the initial stages of registration, drafting your appeal, preparing your case statement, analysing your letting data and engage with the Valuation Office Agency on your behalf.

Ou fee is payable once the Valuation Officer issues a Notice of Alteration deleting your assessment from the Council Tax List.

Representing you in respect of your Council Tax is an RICS Regulated activity.  By starting a Council Tax appeal we are contractually bound to completing the appeal, unsuccessfully or successfully as determined by the Valuation Officer.

What do I need to get started?

3. COPIES OF Council Tax DEMANDS

In order to show you are a related party to the appeal we will be asked to produce copies of your Council Tax demands.

2. LETTER OF AUTHORITY

We will contact your Local Authority with any bill calculation queries and make any necessary applications on your behalf.

4. Letting & marketing information

To establish whether you have a case, we need to appraise your property, understand what letting activity has taken place over the past 2 years and related marketing of your holiday property.
